WOW WOW WOW, busy is an understatemant. I found myself fully booked this Summer and I am now practically fully booked for next year. I have been all over the place this wedding season again. I actually also had a few weddings right on my doorstep which is always handy. As usual I have met some lovely clients and other suppliers too. I am so lucky to be booked up and doing something I adore. I have had to limit myself next year in the amount of weddings I take on, I have a family who amazingly seem to miss me at weekends... Bless them...

Spring has arrived

Well Spring has arrived and it has gone a bit mad. I ran a wedding offer a few weeks ago and took dozens of bookings for this year and next. I already had a few weddings booked this year but now I am nearly full for the Summer. Also next Summer is fairly full.  The Winter months saw the odd wedding but in the main I have been very busy with Family and Bespoke Shoots. My portable studio has proved a good investment and it means I can come into your home and get you professional looking photos from the comfort of your own living room.

I have done a lot of local business shoots this Winter. Such varied businesses I have worked with, ranging from the large Reynolds Group to a local mobile hairdresser.  I believe in supporting local business and charities which is why I often donate a canvas or photo shoot to be auctioned/raffled off.

I have sold a fair amount of my unique photos on canvas in my local shop, it really is a lovely shop and most of the products available for sale are from local suppliers. I am also proud to say I have sold some works on IStock. IStock is a hard nut to crack in the photography world and not easy to be accepted into so I was so chuffed to be accepted as a supplier :)

I am very busy with venue visits at the moment and the wedding season is just starting, I have so many new venues this year and some I am re-visiting. These include The Lost Village of Dode, Cooling Castle, Hythe Cricket Club, Eastbourne Beach to name but a few.

Take Care Everyone and please contact me for any photographic requests-no matter how bizarre ;)

Its Christmas

The weather has been kind again so far, I have had a few winter weddings and although fairly cold the rain held off long enough to get some lovely shots outside at my venues. Venues included Upchurch Golf Club where the groom was a keen golfer and we had a lot of fun walking round the golf course and getting various shots. One of which was the groom and bestmen in the reflection of a golf club. It wasnt an easy set up and a lovely guest helped me but everyone was very pleased with the shot I managed to get. I give clients the traditional shots but I always throw in something a bit different and unique too. I thoroughly enjoy myself at a wedding and sometimes dont even sit down, it is amazing how the day flys by. I had 1 wedding with a lovely family who told me when I left I felt like one of the family. I felt this too and will be seeing them soon for a family shoot. I now have a portable studio which I take on shoots with me.

I have been busy taking photographs for the local shop I sell in too and also my photographs are available to buy on the internet now. I have to pinch myself sometimes how lucky I am to have turned my passion into a business.

I have teamed up with a fantastic guy who I think is a must at anyones wedding

Phew the Summer rush is over, the last few months have flown by. The Summer has been packed with weddings and shoots for me. Have had a great Summer, every single wedding the sun was shining bright too which is always a bonus. My suit jacket certainly came off a few times, however there is now a nip in the air and I suspect I will be needing it back on again for my Autumn weddings. My apprentice and I had the pleasure of a shoot on a local animal rescue farm last week, The work this lady does is amazing and I love photographing animals. I have chickens myself and somehow managed to bagsy myself a couple of ex battery chickens from her too which are now running free in my garden. You organised b2b and h2b out there have seen my diary for 2014 cramming up and even more for 2015. Ive also had a couple of really last minute bookings, thats what I love about my job you just cant predict whats going to happen next or what job Im going to be booked on next.

I am very pleased to announce I had some pictures published in Wedding Ideas Magazine which was certainly a boost for the confidence.

I am also looking forward to the colder months and getting some autumnal shots for the shop that sells my photographs on canvas too. These can be found at the wondeful shabby chic shop Homely 1A+1B Norreys Road, ME89AJ Rainham, Medway

I am all ready for the Autumn and Winter weddings and have suitable protection for myself and more importantly camera just in case the elements get the better of us and I suspect they will ;)

Take Care and keep warm :)

Hello everyone, what a busy Spring I have had. I have done a number of photo shoots for customers. Some were done in my clients homes, some were shot in the local parks and I even had a couple of jobs on the beaches in Kent. I had a very special shoot with a local singer/songwriter called Princess Pialy. She has just released her own songs and is soon to release her first children's novel. Princess Pialy is using my photos for marketing all round the UK. This lady has an amazing talent and if you wish to follow her journey you can keep updated by clicking on this link https://t.co/X2L5DnT4Ua.  The shoots I do are all different, it could be for a couple, family or even a wedding proposal. I also photograph animals which can be problem getting them to keep still, but plenty of treats and we get there in the end.

I  had a lovely job last week at my local shabby chic shop. The owner wanted some pictures for advertising. I could have bought the whole shop :)

Also this Spring I have photographed some weddings and bridal shoots. One of these was done in a local village close to me called Lower Halstow. It really is beautiful and on the river, I am often down there walking the dog so knew a few nice spots for pictures beforehand. One job found me travelling to Portsmouth, I ended up staying the night in a lovely hotel which was a nice treat after a long day shooting.

I have had a fair few bookings these past few months for 2014 and even a couple already for 2015. I have met some lovely couples and been busy viewing venues for weddings I have booked in Summer/Autumn this year.

All in all it has been a very good few months doing what I love the most. I even have my own apprentice, an A level student studying photography working with me occasionally. It is lovely having such an enthusiastic youngster on board.

Take Care and I will update my blog soon...
